Planning for Production

My group and I have made a plan to make our movie.  We eventually decided to make a horror movie, even though none of us wanted to. There were several plots in different genres that we discussed.  However, the horror plot was the most interesting plot idea that we came up with.  Definitely something that kids our age can relate to.  Hopefully we can scare some of them!

We would like to come up with a movie title that catches the attention of the audience.  The one we have now most likely won’t be the final title, it is kind of a boring title.  Unlike the title, we finalized our roles in making the movie.  I am still going to be the director, but now I am also responsible for sounds in the movies. The sounds should be the easier of the two roles since they are sounds that I hear daily. 

To make all this work, we will need a camera, tripod, microphone, lights, and editing software. I have a tripod that I can use, and my group’s editor already has the editing software.  I have a microphone at my house, but I need to figure out if and how it will work.  Now we just have to figure out what camera we are going to use.  We have set up times to meet to start recording at someone’s house, but we do need to find a couple more actors that would like to act in our horror film.  I am getting more excited about making this movie.
