Casting feedback

We picked Cayden to be Brian in our film. Cayden overexaggerated lines he needed to, which emphasized the effect the lines were meant to have on the audience. He was loud and overly dramatic when trying to scare the characters and audience. He showed concern in his facial expressions and his movements which shows his worry for the events occurring. Cayden asked for clarification when rehearsing to make sure he was depicting Brian the way we wanted in the film. He also made suggestions on how to make the character more relatable, but was okay if we did not take his suggestion. Cayden did a great job in acting Brian as one of the main characters in the movie.

We picked Kaleb to be Kyle in our film. Kaleb portrayed Kyle as supportive of his friends by showing concern about John's fears. Kaleb presents a sense of calmness through his tone and motions when acting out his lines. Although he portrayed Kyle as a calm character that we wanted in the movie, he stumbled over his lines a couple of times. Kaleb had not played Clue prior to the filming, which is not something we asked when finding actors for our film. However. he represented someone who already knew how to play Clue. He did a good job in acting Kyle as a supporting role in the movie.

We picked Jeremiah to be John in our film. Jeremiah was also our scriptwriter, so he knew his lines pretty well. Jeremiah's facial expression and cautious movements represented John as the scared main character in the film. He was quieter than the other actors when saying his lines, but was more timid when acting which added to the portrayal John's nervousness. Jeremiah did a good job in acting John as one of the main characters in the movie.

All of the actors did not come in with the script memorized. In rehearsals, they all hesitated when it was their turn to speak, and thought it was someone else's turn to speak when it was their turn. This caused us to have to spend more time rehearsing before we started filming. Once we rehearsed a few times, all of the actors knew what we expected from their characters and did a great job portraying what we were looking for in the film.
