Target Audience

The target audience for our film is teenagers between the ages of 13-18. For this reason, we used all teenage actors in our film that would be relatable to the audience. Something all teenagers do is hang out together and play games. Our movie is centered around three teenagers getting together to play Clue. Most teenagers like to push the limits of what they can do without their parents knowing. Our movie starts with three teenagers at an abandoned house without their parents. In addition to teenagers, our film is written for those who enjoy horror films and like to be scared when watching a film.  These movies usually have less realistic situations, so the audience does not connect to the action. The people we are targeting are individuals who want to avoid reality.

We will use our target audience to determine how to advertise our film. This will allow us to have the movie reach as many potential viewers as possible. Our target audience will also help us decide where our film can be watched. This can help us make sure that most teenagers can watch the film. To have our movie in the theater, it would need to be in an area with a larger teenage population.
